KINGSTON – Saying Kingston
Alderman Brad Will failed to disclose his business involvement in the
Pike Plan Reconstruction as an architect for the plan, Common Council
President James Noble has formally reprimanded him. In a letter dated
December 1, Noble said Will failed to recuse himself from voting on the
issues pertaining to the Pike Plan Reconstruction.
“Given your role as a public servant of this city, your actions were unacceptable and were unbecoming of an alderman,” Noble wrote. “Your understanding of the Ethics Board Standards, as evidenced by your admittance, through counsel, of your violations of the ethics law and your own submittal of an ethics breech by a peer, proves willful neglect of the high standards by which we run the city.”
Noble told Will in his letter of reprimand that “I share my formal disappointment in your actions.”
