LOCH SHELDRAKE – Fallsburg’s new town justice, Amanda Ward, took the oath of office on Sunday at SUNY Sullivan. Several family members, friends and supporters attended the event to witness history in the making as Ward, a Republican, is the first woman and first African American judge to be elected in Fallsburg.
The oath of office was administered by retired Fallsburg Justice Isaac “Yits” Kantrowitz.
