Monticello man arrested on felony drug charges

MONTICELLO – Authorities have arrested a 53-year-old Monticello
man on felony drug charges after a search of the room he rented at a local
motel turned up crack cocaine.

Curtis Stubbs was charged with two counts of felony drug possession and
misdemeanor criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Police found over 61 grams of crack cocaine, two digital scales and close
to $81,000 in cash in his room at the Heritage Inn on Broadway in Monticello.

He was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending a future
court appearance.

Monticello Police along with the Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force,
State Police CNET, Sullivan County sheriff’s Office and Village
of Liberty Police participated in the investigation and arrest of Stubbs.
