Gun and drugs seized, three arrested in Wallkill

TOWN OF WALLKILL – State Police arrested three men and seized an illegally possessed loaded gun and drugs following a traffic stop in the Town of Wallkill.
The car was pulled over Saturday afternoon, November 28 on Industrial
Drive in Wallkill, but only after it continued to travel and stopped in
a nearby driveway.
When probable cause was established, troopers recovered an illegally possessed loaded .38 caliber handgun, 2.6 grams of heroin and a small amount of marijuana.
Arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanor drug possession and unlawful possession of marijuana were driver Tywan St. Philippe, 21, of Middletown, and passengers Jamaad Murphy and Dyzier Lewis, both 19, and from Middletown.  St. Philippe was also charged with unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle. Murphy was also charged with criminal impersonation for providing a false name and date of birth when he was arrested.
All three men were sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of bail.
