LIVINGSTON – A Livingston woman is in the Columbia County Jail without bail, accused of killing her newborn son.
Tara Tomlin, 20, was charged with felony murder after State Police found the baby in a garbage bag tossed in a dumpster outside the XtraMart at Bells Pond in Livingston. An autopsy revealed the baby had been suffocated to death.
State Police along with State Police and the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office investigated and charged the child’s mother with murder.
