CHESTNUT RIDGE – A bin containing pool chemicals and other combustible items exploded on the deck of a home in the Village of Chestnut Ridge early Sunday afternoon.
Ramapo Police investigated and reported that a plastic bin containing the chemicals exploded. Damage was contained to the bin and the immediate area of the deck.
There were no injuries.
Ramapo detectives, Rockland County Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Monsey Fire Department responded to the scene and assisted with the investigation.
