SAUGERTIES –
A 28-year-old Saugerties pled guilty to falsely reporting an incident
for feigning illness so he could be taken by ambulance to Kingston to
see her boyfriend.
Cassandra Lewis admitted in Saugerties Village Court that on November
16 she didn’t have cab fare to go to Kingston, so she called 911
and took an ambulance to the hospital.
When she arrived at the hospital, she refused treatment and walked the
two blocks to her boyfriend’s house.
Lewis will be sentenced in January.
