Dutchess Office for Aging Director Dolan to retire

POUGHKEEPSIE – Dutchess
County Office for the Aging Director Mary Kaye Dolan is going to retire
at the end of January.

County Executive Marcus Molinaro made the announcement on Wednesday.

She has worked for the county for 26 years including the past five as
office for the aging director.

“The needs and priorities of Dutchess County’s senior population
are ever changing and evolving,” Molinaro said. “Mary Kay
Dolan has been at the forefront of responding to those changing needs
and has been an unwavering advocate for our seniors. She has continued
to raise the bar in delivering high quality programming and services that
have made Dutchess County a model throughout New York State.”

Dolan lives in the City of Poughkeepsie with her husband, John. She plans
to spend winter months in Florida and also remain active in the community
and involved with efforts to combat ageism and age discrimination.
