Two stabbed in Poughkeepsie fight

POUGHKEEPSIE – Two Poughkeepsie men are in the hospital after they were stabbed in a flight with two other men in the city early Sunday morning.  The fight broke out in front of 22 Academy in the road with several vehicles having to stop because of the fight.
City Police said the wounded are ages 47 and 30. One man sustained serious wounds to his neck and chest and is in critical, but stable condition. The other man suffered wounds to his abdomen and arm.
Several witnesses called police saying the two suspects were running from the scene in front of Guava Berry Grill at 22 Academy Street. As a result, police arrested them nearby. Edwin Pinto-Aguilar, 33, and Eliud Giovani Aguilar-Lopez, 34, both of the city, were charged with felony assault.
Police are asking anyone who was driving by and saw the fight to call them at 845-451-7577.
