Putnam man charged with rape

CARMEL – The Putnam County
Sheriff’s Office has charged a Town of Southeast man with rape.

On November 11 at 6:50 a.m., Ronaldo Araely Lopez-Miguel, 20, of the Town
of Southeast, was charged with felony rape, and misdemeanor unlawful imprisonment
and endangering the welfare of a child.

Lopez-Miguel’s arrest was the result of an investigation that was
initiated on November 9 when the father of a 13-year-old girl told police
his daughter was involved in a sexual relationship with Lopez-Miguel.

He was arraigned and committed to the Putnam County Jail in lieu of $100,000
cash or bond.

A detainer was placed on him as an illegal alien.
