CALLICOON – A Howard Beach is in the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail after he was caught doing donuts on the soccer field at a town park in Callicoon Center.
Callicoon town officials had spotted an SUV doing donuts on the field. Town Highway Superintendent Kris Scullion detained the driver, Nicholas Carbone, 20, while Town Supervisor Tom Bose called the police.
Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies charged Carbone with felony criminal mischief and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Damage to the soccer is estimated at over $3,000.
