Marist on lockdown after online threat

TOWN OF POUGHKEEPSIE –
Marist College in the Town of Poughkeepsie was placed on lockdown Friday
morning after an anonymous online threat was received on Twitter.

Students were advised to stay in their dormitories and classes were cancelled.

Police responded to the scene to investigate the threat and remained on
campus throughout the day.

Anyone with information about the threat is asked to call Poughkeepsie
