POUGHKEEPSIE – A handgun reported stolen in Brevard County, Florida in 2011 was recovered when a Poughkeepsie man was stopped in that city during a STOP-DWI patrol.
Dutchess County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a car driven by Brandon Bailey, 30, for speeding and before he stopped, he was observed throwing something out of the car. A check of the immediate area turned up a bag with the stolen gun and a loaded magazine.
