WASHINGTONVILLE – A Blooming Grove man was arrested on Saturday after Washingtonville Police attempted to stop him for having an expired inspection sticker on his car, but Charles Frank, 38, kept driving for a half mile on Route 208 while police had their lights and sirens on.
He eventually pulled into his own driveway and parked his car at which time his six-year-old daughter got out and ran into the home crying.
Frank told police he wanted to get her home before he got arrested.  He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, aggravated unlicensed operation and three traffic tickets.
The child was unharmed and left in the care of her grandparents.
