POUGHKEEPSIE – One of the first things Poughkeepsie Mayor-elect Robert Rolison will have to do when he takes office in January is choose a new city administrator. Current Administrator Milo Bunyi informed him that he will be leaving the job.
Rolison said he wants to assemble a top notch team at City Hall.
“As far as any of the other positions are concerned other than finance commissioner because we do not have a finance commissioner, which I will be doing a search for,” Rolison said. “I have to look at all of the various positions at City Hall,” He didn’t want to “put the cart before the horse” until he had won the election.
Rolison said he will first assemble a transition team to pave the way for his new administration.
The Republican mayor-elect defeated Democrat Randy Johnson in Tuesday’s election.  The city’s common council remains dominated by Democrats.
