MONTICELLO – Two incumbent Democrats, Kathleen LaBuda and Jonathan Rouis, lose their reelection bids. So did Republican Kitty Vetter.
In the balance, Republicans increased their two-seat presence of the past four years to an apparent 5-4 majority.
That could mean the end of Democrat Scott Samuelson’s tenure as chairman, which is a bit ironic because he was the only incumbent legislator to run unopposed.
