NEW ROCHELLE – Law enforcement
swept through the City of New Rochelle Wednesday morning arresting at
least 38 of 49 suspects wanted in connection with a seven-month operation
into drug trafficking dubbed City Sweeper 3.
New Rochelle Police were assisted by the Westchester County Department
of Public Safety, and special agents from the FBI and DEA.
A total of 49 arrest warrants were secured before the sweep began. Police
expect several more arrests will be made before the operation concludes.
