Newburgh police investigate gunshot reports

NEWBURGH – City Police are investigating a report of gunshots in the area of 172 First Street. Individuals called the police around 7:40 p.m. Monday to report that gunfire and then another person called to report shots in the area of 264 First Street.
Police Chief Daniel Cameron said responding officers could not find a victim, shell casings or projectile strikes.
Detectives are reviewing the reported incidents.
