Monticello man accused of unemployment insurance fraud

MONTICELLO – A Monticello man is charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records, both as felonies.
The arrest of Arthur Rodgers, 46, was the result of an investigation by the state labor department and State Police. It is alleged that between February 13, 2012 and August 12, 2012, he applied for and received unemployment benefits totaling $4,690, which he was not entitled to receive.
Rodgers was sent to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
