Beekman man charged collecting on fake unemployment claims

BEEKMAN – A Beekman man allegedly collected over $8,500 in state unemployment benefits fraudulently while he was gainfully employed.
State Police charged Jonathan Celian,, 32, with felonies of grand larceny, falsifying business records and offering a false instrument for filing.
He is alleged to have collected the money between September 2012 and February 2014.
