Beekman man charged with ripping off labor department with fake unemployment claims

BEEKMAN – A 32-year-old
Beekman man has been charged with collecting over $8,500 in state unemployment
benefits fraudulently while he was gainfully employed.

State Police charged Jonathan Celian with felonies of grand larceny, falsifying
business records and offering a false instrument for filing.

He is alleged to have collected the money between September 2012 and February
2014.
