Police ID body found in Poughkeepsie park

POUGHKEEPSIE – City Police in Poughkeepsie
have identified the body of a man found in the woods in Sculpture Park
as that of Donald Lynk, a 57-year-old city man. He had no known address.

The body was found at around 8:20 a.m. on Tuesday at the park at 178 Main
Street at the intersection with Bridge Street.

Lynk was found dead in a small patch of trees and brush along the east
side of the park.

There were no signs of foul play, said Det. Lt. Matthew Clark.

The body was turned over to the Dutchess County Medical Examiner’s
Office, during which an autopsy found nothing suspicious.

The cause of death is pending the results of toxicology tests.
