Dutchess man accused of fraudulently collecting unemployment benefits

LAGRANGE – State Police arrested a Pleasant Valley man for allegedly collecting over $4,500 in unemployment benefits from the state Labor Department.
Ryan Urbin, 35, was charged on Monday with grand larceny, offering a false instrument for filing and falsifying business records, all as felonies.  He is accused of unlawfully collecting the benefits from June 2011 to December 2012.
Urbin was arraigned and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
