One candidate in Orange County Court judge race

GOSHEN – Attorney Craig Brown is the sole candidate running for the Orange County Court judgeship being vacated at the end of this year by the retiring Judge Jeffrey Berry.
Brown will be running on the Republican line along with the Independence,
Conservative and Green Party lines.  A second Republican candidate,
Thomas Cione of Goshen, had hoped to challenge Brown in a GOP primary
next month, but his petitions were deemed insufficient.
There is no Democrat running for the post, and at this point, no one has filed to run on independent lines.
