POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Drug Task Force concluded a four-month investigation into drug trafficking in the Harlem Valley with the arrests of seven people. Authorities executed two search warrants, recovered 1 ½ ounces of heroin, a half ounce of cocaine, 150 Oxycodone pills and $4,000 in cash.
Arrested were Val Mackins, 29, of Dover Plains; Ashley Zagarella, 29, of Dover Plains; Thomas Pray, 40, of Amenia; Antony Hoffman, 29, of Dover Plains; Mary Ashby, 35, of Dover Plains; Jacob Gast, 22, of Dover; and Donald O’Dell, 32, of Dover. They were all charged with various drug offenses.
The search warrants were executed on Friday, August 14 at 1883A Route 22 in Dover Plains at 316 Old Pawling Road in Dover Plains by the Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Service Unit.
