MOUNT VERNON – Police are investigating
the shootings of three people outside a south side bar early Sunday morning.
One of the people is in critical condition.
The incident, just before 3 a.m., sent officers to the Bungalow Bar at
523 South Fulton Avenue, where it was determined the victims were shot
while on the sidewalk near the bar.
One man was located at the scene and transported to the hospital by ambulance.
It was later learned that two other people – a man and a women –
were also shot and had been driven to a hospital by other means.
The woman and one man were treated for minor injuries while the other
man remains hospitalized.
