POUGHKEEPSIE – The Dutchess County Deputy Sheriffs’ Police Benevolent Association has endorsed County Executive Marcus Molinaro for reelection.
“Marc is a true friend of law enforcement and we are grateful for his support,” said PBA President Kenneth Powers.
The Deputy sheriffs’ PBA represents some 100 lieutenants, sergeants and deputy sheriffs in the county.
“Dutchess County has one of the finest sheriff’s departments in New York State and I am committed to ensuring that they have the support necessary to effectively do their job,” Molinaro said.
The Republican county executive has already won the backing of the county
CSEA in his bid to capture a second four-year term. He has also been endorsed
by the Dutchess County Corrections Officers and Jail staff.
Democrat Diane Jablonski is challenging Molinaro in the November election.
