Three arrested in weekend slashings

HILLCREST – Ramapo Town Police arrested three men in connection with the stabbings ad slashings of three people outside a private party in Hillcrest early Sunday morning. The assaults occurred on the street in the area of 14A South Hillside Avenue in Hillcrest.
Bradley Tony Lauture, 18, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon. He was found in possession of a defaced semi-automatic 9 mm handgun.   He was in a vehicle that was stopped by responding police officers to the original assault call.
Noe Valcin, 20, and Jeremiah Ellie, 19, were charged with gang assault, felony assault and criminal possession of a weapon. They were charged in connection for their part in the assaults of the victims.
Police said the investigation is continuing and there may be additional charges and additional arrests made.
