BLOOMING GROVE – Democrat Lawrence
Delarose will appear in the party primary ballot in September as he seeks
to capture his party’s nod to run for Blooming Grove town supervisor
in the November general election.

The Orange County Board of Elections notified Delarose on Thursday that
his petitions have been validated.

He will, therefore, run against incumbent Supervisor Robert Fromaget,
in the Democratic primary.

“This will give Democrats a chance to decide who they want on the
ballot in November,” Delarose said. “The incumbent wants a
referendum on his attempt to deny voters the right to choose local officials
and now he is going to get it on September 10.”
