ALBANY – The northern section of the Palisades Interstate Parkway will be repaired and repaved at a price tag of over $10 million in state funds.
Route 6 will also be resurfaced between Route 293 and the Palisades later this year.
The Palisades work will be performed in two phases. This year the area from the bookstore to the Bear Mountain Circle will be repaved. Next year, the area from exit 13 at Haverstraw/Suffern to the bookstore will be repaired.
The announcement came from Senator William Larkin and Assemblymen James Skoufis and Kenneth Zebrowski.
