NEWBURGH – With terrorist attacks in other parts of the world in recent days and the July 4th holiday at the end of the week, police agencies are being particularly vigilant for any potential dangers.
Regional FBI Assistant Director-in-Charge Diego Rodriguez told MidHudsonNews.com the agency is on its toes all the time.
“I think it doesn’t matter what day of the week it is,” Rodriguez said.  “Obviously the holidays are always ones that we look at carefully, but we are always staying very vigilant on national security matters with that type of threat out there.”
Law enforcement is continually recruiting the assistance of the public to alert them if they see something or someone suspicious.
