HUNTER – A New Jersey man was arrested and charged with felony assault and misdemeanor possession of a weapon after he allegedly beat a man, who was attending the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain last weekend.
State Police said Bruce Belfer, 52, of West Allenhurst, New Jersey, was working there as a security guard. Troopers alleged he kicked a 21-year-old man in the face causing serious facial injuries and also struck the man in the face with a blunt object.
Belfer was arraigned and released on bail.
State Police were assisted at the scene by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
