Three teens arrested during residential burglary

PINE PLAINS – Three teens were arrested on Sunday afternoon in connection with a residential burglary in the Town of Pine Plains.
Dutchess County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a reported burglary in progress at 41 Hoffman Road and quickly located and apprehended the three, who were allegedly stealing items from the house and bringing them to a nearby vehicle.
Arrested were Zachary Dam, 18, of Gallatin, Bryce Hay, 18, of Pine Plains and Amanda Jochum, 16, of Red Hook.  They were each charged with felony burglary with bail set at $1,000 cash or $3,000 bond each. Dam and Jochum are in the Dutchess County Jail and Hay was released after posting bail.
The investigation is continuing. The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office and State Police.
