MIDDLETOWN – Five women have been arrested by Middletown Police and charged with the misdemeanor of prostitution and three men have been charged with patronizing a prostitute, also a misdemeanor.
Police conducted a sweep in the downtown area on Thursday.
Arrested on the prostitution charge were:
Waldemar Bermudez, 52, of Middletown
Jasmin Sanchez, 31, of Middletown
Jayme Carlock, 34, of Middletown
Marie Eckerson, 39, of Middletown
Robin Green, 37, of Middletown
Charged with patronizing were:
Frank James, 45, of Scotchtown
Michael Sanchez, 23, of Middletown
Samuel Dabbs, 52, of Maybrook
All parties with the exception of Green were released on their own recognizance. Green was held on a probation warrant.
