Port Jervis man arrested for illegal gun possession

PORT JERVIS – A Port Jervis man was arrested on charges of felony criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property. Percy Scott, 30, was also charged with misdemeanors of criminal possession of marijuana and growing cannabis.  Police said he possessed a .22 caliber semi-automatic handgun that was reported stolen from Wurtsboro.
Scott was sent to the Orange County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
