PEEKSKILL – Mayor Frank Catalina is seeking reelection to the City of Peekskill’s top post. He defeated former Democratic Mayor Mary Foster in 2013.
“We don’t run Peekskill as Republicans or Democrats,” Catalina, a Republican, said. “We run Peekskill as friends and neighbors to do the right thing.”
The mayor said that while his running mates are not registered Republicans “they believe as we do that incessant politics should not be injected into every policy discussion as the incumbents do on an almost daily basis.”
Running for common council along with Catalina are Tina Fischer, Brendon Fitzgerald and Herbert Reyes.
