CATSKILL – A Palenville man is in the Greene County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond after he allegedly assaulted a four-month-old baby, causing life threatening injuries.
State Police said the investigation indicated Kirk Berry, 27, was caring for the infant at his home when he became angry and injured the baby, who has been hospitalized since Friday, June 5.
State Police were assisted by Greene County Child Protective Services and the Greene County District Attorney’s Office.
