Harriman woman charged with prostitution

HARRIMAN – An investigation by Harriman Police, State Police and the CNET-Hudson Valley resulted in the arrest if a Harriman woman on a charge of prostitution.
Sylvia Shehata, 45, had agreed with an undercover officer to accept cash in exchange for sexual services.
Shehata was charged with prostitution and endangering the welfare of a child and released pending a future court appearance.
