Gross elected to state association position

GOSHEN – Orange County Human Resources Commissioner Steven Gross has been elected as second vice president of the New York State Association of Personnel and Civil Services Officers.  He was elected unanimously on Monday.
The association represents 98 municipal civil service entities across the state and works to promote best practices and education with respect to the administration of the civil service merit and fitness system.
“Mr. Gross’ election to this important statewide position demonstrates that Orange County has some of the best department heads in the State of New York,” said County Executive Steven Neuhaus.
