PEEKSKILL – The Westchester County Independence Party announced its endorsement of the entire Democratic slate for Peekskill mayor and common council.
The party is backing Kenneth Martin for mayor, incumbent common council members Kathleen Talbot and Vivian McKenzie, and newcomer Andre Rainey for council.
“This endorsement was easy for the Westchester Independence Party because of the strengths and successes of the incumbent councilwomen and also because of the fresh perspective and collaborative approach that Ken Martin and Andre Rainey will bring to Peekskill City Hall,” said Independence Party Chairman Dr. Giulio Cavallo.
