BEEKMAN – State Police arrested a Beekman girl on felony charges of criminal sale of a firearm and grand larceny.
On June 4, a Beekman woman told troopers that a family member had stolen a .38 caliber revolver from her and sold it to an East Fishkill man.
Investigation revealed that Bridget Selage, 17, had taken the gun and sold it to Erik Dietrich, 47, of East Fishkill.
Dietrich was charged with criminal purchase and criminal possession of a firearm, both felonies. He is not permitted to possess a firearm because he was previously convicted of a crime. He is in the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bond.
Selage was released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
