GOSHEN – The Orange County Democratic
Committee has endorsed two candidates for family court – Christine
Stage and Maria Patrizio.
Richard Roberts of Port Jervis was backed to run for the 13th District
Legislative seat, which was vacated recently when Dennis Simmons was appointed
as county commissioner of jurors.
Roberts is a former mayor of Port Jervis.
County party Chairman Brett Broge said the committee endorsed “three
highly qualified, highly experienced candidates for their respective offices.”
