Pompilio

NEWBURGH – State Police arrested a Newburgh woman on felony charges of grand larceny and offering a false instrument for filing.
An investigation revealed that Patricia Pompilio, 64, allegedly stole over $16,000 in state unemployment benefits to which she was not entitled. She reported she was not working, when in fact, she was gainfully employed, police said.  She was released on her own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
State Police investigated in conjunction with the State Department of Labor.
