MONROE – A Wallkill man is in the Orange County Jail on a grand larceny charge in alleging he stole jewelry from a residence in the Town of Monroe.
State Police at Monroe began investigating last December when they received a complaint that jewelry was missing from the home.
Troopers learned that Daniel Morris, 29, allegedly pawned several pieces of jewelry at local pawn shops in Orange and Dutchess counties between mid-November and early December 2014.
