POUGHKEEPSIE – City and State Police executed a search warrant at a rear garage at 15 Thompson Street in the city on Wednesday and arrested four people and confiscated drugs, guns and cash.
Following an investigation into marijuana distribution at that location, police seized 1½ pounds of pot, two 12-gauge shotguns and just under $2,000 in cash.
Arrested on felony marijuana possession charges were Ranier Crawford, 18, Oneil Hall, 27, Denton Hayles, 27, all of Poughkeepsie, and Rackish Salmon, 31, of Brooklyn.
Police also arrested Shaquan Smith, 20, and Robertson Whyte, 52, both of Poughkeepsie, on outstanding warrants for local ordinance violations.
