HYDE PARK – A 38-year-old homeless
woman was arrested on a warrant while staying at a local hotel in Hyde
Park.
Town Police forced entry into the room to find the woman, identified as
Jodie Parker, semi-conscious from an apparent drug overdose.
She was arrested on a warrant for a probation violation from Greene County
Court. While officers were arresting her around 6 a.m. on Friday, May
22, Parker was found in possession of heroin and cocaine.
She was transported to MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie. She
was arraigned and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $15,000
cash bail or $30,000 bond.
Hyde Park Police charged her with felony and misdemeanor criminal possession
of a controlled substance.
