Dunkin Donuts manager accused of forging payroll documents for cash

CATSKILL – State Police arrested an East Durham man on felony charges of grand larceny, forgery and falsifying business records in connection with crimes he allegedly committed while as manager of the Coxsackie Dunkin Donuts shop.
Michael Hulbert, 28, allegedly falsified payroll documents of a former employee in order for that worker to continue to receive a paycheck. But, Hulbert was forging the signature of that person, cashing the checks and keeping the money. The crimes occurred over a 38 week period between May 2011 and March 2012, police said.
Hulbert is in the Greene County Jail in lieu of $500 cash bail or $1,000 bond pending a future court appearance.
