SUFFERN – The three Bon Secours hospitals – Good Samaritan in Suffern, Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis and St. Anthony’s Hospital in Warwick – will be managed by Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. Officials of both hospital groups announced the arrangement in Suffern on Wednesday.
Westchester Med will become the majority partner in the merger, handling the management of the Bon Secours facilities, said Bon Secours spokeswoman Deborah Marshall.

“This is an opportunity for all of our facilities to function locally
as they have done before and adding the tertiary and quaternary care that
Westchester provides as well,” Marshall said.
WMC President Michael Israel said their focus “remains protecting the valued local healthcare services that the residents of this region come to expect and deserve and, with our clinical and operational acumen, further strengthen local programs and offerings in the community, which started with our partnership with MidHudson Regional Hospital last year.”
One year ago, Westchester Med bought the former St. Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie and changed the name to MidHudson Regional Hospital.
