Mohegan Lake man charged with shooting crossbow at adult home employee

CORTLANDT – State Police arrested a Mohegan Lake man for intentionally shooting a series of crossbow arrows at an employee of Mohegan Park Home for Adults in Mohegan Lake.
Mark Riley, 55, was arrested on Wednesday, the same day of the incident. He was taken into custody by troopers who charged him with attempted assault and criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies.
Riley was sent to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000.  If convicted, he could face up to 15 years in state prison.
Police did not release a motive for the shooting.
