Police identify ambulette passenger who died in crash

WEST NYACK – Clarkstown Police Friday
released the identity of a man killed when an ambulette and minibus collided
in West Nyack on Thursday as Vincent Careccio, 48, of Pomona.

He was a passenger in the ambulette that was driven by Jean Saintilme,
42, of Spring Valley.

The driver of the bus, owned by Brega Transport, was Marie Morisset, 64,
of Spring Valley. It was carrying two passengers, a 22-year-old New York
City man and a 34-year-old Spring Valley woman.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation and no summonses
have been issued.

As of Thursday night, all of the involved people remained hospitalized
at Nyack Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
